Nestlé Brazil is seeking a Senior Data Governance Leader to drive the data governance strategy across global, regional, and local contexts. You will shape policies, standards, processes, and controls to ensure reliable, compliant, and secure data assets across the organization.

You will lead Data Quality initiatives with defined metrics, oversee cataloging, metadata, lineage, and documentation, and coordinate Data Owners and Data Stewards for key data domains.

Qualificações

• Experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Data Quality, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience defining Data Governance policies, standards, processes, and frameworks.
• Experience defining and monitoring Governance and Data Quality KPIs.
• Advanced or fluent English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the execution of Nestlé Brazil’s Data Governance strategy, aligning with global, regional, and local needs.
• Establish and evolve data governance policies, standards, processes, and controls to ensure reliability, compliance, security, and appropriate use of data.
• Lead Data Quality initiatives by defining metrics, indicators, and monitoring mechanisms to increase the reliability of enterprise data products.
• Ensure the management and continuous improvement of cataloging, metadata, classification, lineage, and documentation processes for the organization’s data assets.
• Coordinate the definition and maintenance of Data Owners, Data Stewards, and associated responsibilities for the company’s key data domains.
• Promote data governance adoption through culture programs, training, onboarding, communication, and engagement across business and technology teams.
• Serve as the primary Governance point of contact for Data Engineering, Architecture, Data Products, Analytics, and functional teams.
• Monitor governance, quality, and adoption indicators, ensuring the continuous advancement of the organization’s data maturity.
• Lead and develop the Data Governance team, promoting operational excellence, talent development, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• Experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Data Quality, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience defining Data Governance policies, standards, processes, and frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Data Quality, Metadata Management, Data Catalog, Data Lineage, and Data Stewardship.
• Experience implementing or advancing enterprise Data Governance programs.
• Experience defining and monitoring Governance and Data Quality KPIs.
• Knowledge of modern Analytics and Data platforms, such as Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, or equivalent technologies.
• Experience managing stakeholders and leading cross-functional initiatives involving business and technology teams.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, influence, and lead organizational change.
• Knowledge of privacy, information security, and regulatory requirements applicable to data use.
• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Advanced or fluent English.
