Job summary

Vistara Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced analyst to support specialized utility programs and data warehouses for Direct Procurement. You will enhance software for client use to optimize procurement operations, including coordinating installations and upgrading systems with offshore teams.

The role requires strong communication, mentoring abilities, and deep knowledge of SDLC, Snowflake, DataStage, and Oracle technologies, with a Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training.
• 7+ years related experience required.
• Experience with data warehouses and software support for procurement functions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support applications and data warehouses from daily operations perspective; manage user access requests.
• Test and deploy minor enhancements, bug fixes, and forced changes for the supported apps and data warehouses.
• Coordinate software system installation and upgrades with offshore team to meet business/IT outcomes.
• Analyze information to determine and plan computer specifications and layouts.
• Evaluate reporting formats, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration.
• Consult with customers about requirements, training needs, etc.
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, programmers to design system and understand project limits and capabilities.

Job Description:Summary

The main function of this role is to support specialized utility programs utilizing software packages and data warehouses for use in Direct Procurement functional area. A typical analyst is responsible for supporting and enhancing software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency for procurement functions.

Job responsibilities

• "1. Support applications and data warehouses from daily operations perspective. Manage user access requests to applications and data warehouses.
• 2. Test and Deploy minor enhancements, bug fixes, forced changes for the supported applications and data warehouses.
• 3. Coordinate software system installation and upgrades with offshore team to meet desired business or IT outcome.
• 4. Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts.
• 5. Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration.
• 6. Consult with customers about requirements, system changes, training needs, etc.
• 7. Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
