Data Engineer (Python And Sql) - Remote

ITTConnect is seeking Data Engineers who are experienced in Python and SQL to fill a position with a US-based client that is a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology, and consulting services present in nearly 50 countries.

As a Data Engineer, you will work as part of a team in a challenging, innovative environment for our client. Investigate, create, and implement solutions for many technical challenges using cutting-edge technologies, including building/enhancing their data processing platform.

Job location: Remote, work from home anywhere in Brazil.

Must speak English. All interviews will be conducted in English, as well as the work afterwards.

Requirements:

1. 5+ years experience working as a Data Engineer, business intelligence, data analytics, or a similar role
2. High proficiency in Python
3. Advanced proficiency in SQL, able to write and optimize SQL queries which will run against Snowflake or Delta tables
4. Expertise in database fundamentals, SQL, and distributed computing
5. Experience in ETL orchestration and workflow management tools like Airflow
6. Experience with Spark, Snowflake, & Databricks
7. Excellent communication skills and experience working with both technical and non-technical teams
8. Ability to think strategically, analyze, and interpret market and consumer information

Nice to have:

1. Experience with distributed data ecosystems (Spark, Hive, Presto) and/or streaming technologies such as Kafka/Flink
