About The Role

You will play a pivotal role in shaping our fraud prevention infrastructure by developing robust, scalable data processes and systems. Félix values innovation, agility, autonomy, and accountability. Your work will impact risk decision-making, helping protect millions of Latinos by leveraging high-quality data. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable systems supporting risk decision-making.
• Build data pipelines for real-time and batch processing with high availability and low latency.
• Architect and optimize data infrastructure for large-scale data processing.
• Implement data governance, quality, and observability frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate risk data into backend services.
• Establish best practices for data engineering, including CI/CD, data versioning, and performance monitoring.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Software or Data Engineer in a fast-paced environment.
• 2+ years of experience with fraud prevention and risk analytics.
• Proficiency in building scalable data infrastructure (data lakes, warehouses, feature stores).
• Experience with real-time and batch data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Beam, Dataflow, Spark, Kafka).
• Strong skills in Python and SQL, including data modeling and ETL pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with Google Cloud services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Airflow) is a plus.
• Curiosity or experience in Fintech is a plus.
