A Red House International School, localizada em Santana, busca um(a) auxiliar de sala para apoiar docentes e facilitar a aprendizagem em um ambiente bilíngue.

Você irá ajudar na distribuição de materiais, acompanhar crianças, registrar atividades e colaborar em projetos didáticos, mantendo a segurança e higiene no ambiente escolar.

Experiência em educação não é obrigatória; é desejável estudo em psicologia, bom domínio do inglês e perfil cuidadoso, criativo e colaborativo.

Responsabilidades

• Apoiar o professor em sala de aula para facilitar a aprendizagem.
• Distribuir e coletar materiais.

• Auxiliar no cuidado e supervisão das crianças durante atividades.
• Registrar atividades dos alunos com fotos e vídeos conforme orientação.
• Participar de reuniões e workshops profissionais.
• Seguir as diretrizes da escola.
• Auxiliar na cafeteria com consumo de lanches.
• Observar comportamento infantil para sinais de doença.
• Comunicar comportamentos às equipes responsáveis.
• Monitorar crianças individualmente quando necessário.

Responsabilidades e atribuições

• Provide support in the classroom, sharing with the teacher the conveying of activity instruction to students in order to enhance learning;
• Assist the teacher in the distribution and collection of materials, etc;
• Participate in the implementation of didactic-pedagogical projects at the school;
• Keep the classroom organized, anticipating the materials requested by the teacher;
• Support in decorating walls, doors, tables and bulletin boards around the school;
• Ensure safety, constantly staying with the students, in any activity, observing, guiding and interfering when necessary, to avoid the likelihood of accidents. Keeping this stance comprehensively for all school students;
• Receive students upon school arrival and exit, paying attention to safety standards, handing the child over only to the person in charge;
• Support the teacher in managing the class in times of absence or temporary unavailability of the teaching assistants;
• Record students' activities through videos and photos and send them to the teacher, within the previously established deadline, without harming the classroom’s dynamics;
• Attend academic meetings, educational conferences and development workshops in order to maintain and improve professional competence;
• Follow Red House's general guidelines (Language Policy, Teachers' Handbook, Assessment Policy);
• Support assistants, accompanying the children to the cafeteria, serving snacks, lunch and dinner, observing the basic concepts of hygiene and food;
• Carefully observe the children's attitudes and behaviors in order to identify illness, informing the assistant about the situation;
• Report children´s behaviors to the assistants so that they can report such behaviors to their families;
• Monitoring children on an individual basis, applying evidence-based behavioral strategies when necessary.
