The Role

We are looking for a seasoned cybersecurity auditor to lead and execute audit engagements across a global organization. The role involves assessing IT controls, processes, and security settings, applying risk‑based audit frameworks, and communicating findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit and review IT controls, processes, and security settings including change management, incident management, access management, patch management, and configuration management.
• Apply risk‑based audit approaches to analyze processes, identify associated risks, and conduct formal testing to determine control effectiveness.
• Prepare and present audit findings, develop recommendations, and produce a final report that communicates effectiveness status for each risk.
• Effectively and professionally present issues, risks, and technical information in English to diverse audiences.
• Lead audit teams on specific engagements and manage multiple priorities with strong time‑management skills.

Qualifications & Experience

• Undergraduate or master’s degree in Information Security, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
• Experience related to cybersecurity, risk management, or IT audits.
• Proficiency with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, COSO, SOX, and general security best practices.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills; ability to execute audit processes and communicate outcomes.
• At least one of the following certifications: CISA, CISM, CISSP, or another relevant credential.
• Experience leading cybersecurity audits/reviews and conducting security assessments for a global organization.
• Excellent time‑management and communication skills; proficiency in English; knowledge of Portuguese is an asset.
