What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review provider contracts for accuracy and completeness
- Credential physicians applying for the provider network
- Input approved provider information into tracking tools in a timely manner
- Research provider licenses and insurance to ensure current and accurate information
- Provide training, mentoring, and ongoing feedback to credentialing specialists

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in healthcare credentialing, privileging, and clinical-based practice of medicine
- Experience in compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards such as The Joint Commission (TJC) and National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)
- Ability to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation
- Familiarity with credentialing and privileging software is a plus

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certification is a plus
- Experience with military installation credentialing processes
