Descrição da oferta de emprego

About us:

How did Web Summit become, in the words of Forbes, “the best tech conference on the planet”? Meaningful connections. Our tech events are unmissable because we make it easier for the right people to meet and connect. Everyone at Web Summit works towards this goal.

And we’re just getting started.

We’re always looking to build on the impact we have already made at Web Summit. In the coming years we’ll take Web Summit to new markets, promoting global connectivity, highlighting important issues and connecting global leaders – all while making a positive impact on the environment and communities we encounter.

To build a better company, we have to better ourselves. We do that by finding the most ambitious people to work with us.

The role:

We’re looking for a Creative Producer to join our growing Content Team for Web Summit Rio.

You’ll be responsible for curating, shaping, and delivering high-calibre on-stage content. From speaker booking to on-site production, this is a fast-paced, high-impact role where editorial meets execution.

What you will do
  • Industry Research: Track trends, identify leading voices, and stay ahead of emerging startups and technologies across relevant industries.
  • Speaker Booking: Secure high-profile and A-list speakers, especially for our Centre Stage. You’ll lead outreach, negotiations, and coordination with speakers and their teams.
  • Editorial Ownership: Shape the narrative of our stages. Work with speakers to define compelling topics, formats, and titles. Write talk descriptions, moderator briefs, and technical scripts.
  • Live Production: Manage speaker logistics and live rehearsals. Ensure all assets are prepped and stages run smoothly on-site, collaborating with technical and production teams.
  • Platform & Data Management: Maintain accurate records using our internal platforms and tools. Attention to detail and flawless admin are essential to your success.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with speakers, companies, and stakeholders before, during, and after the event.
  • Internal Expertise: Be a source of insight and strategic advice for internal teams. You’ll act as the go-to expert for your speaker tracks and industries.
Skills and abilities we're looking for
  • You’re consistently booking high-quality, relevant speakers for Centre Stage and beyond.
  • You aim to confirm at least 4 A-list speakers per year across your content verticals.
  • You stay ahead of industry shifts and consistently maintain a strong research pipeline with timely, strategic outreach.
  • You communicate clearly and proactively with your manager, particularly around pipeline challenges.
  • You demonstrate strong editorial judgment, creating engaging formats and talk titles that resonate with our global audience.
  • You are a reliable team player who collaborates effectively across departments.
  • Your admin and data tracking are consistently up-to-date and accurate, supporting seamless internal operations.
Who you are
  • Ideally, 2–4 years of experience in production, content, editorial, or events (or adjacent industries)
  • Strong interest in tech, innovation, entrepreneurship, or media
  • Confident communicator with experience engaging high-profile individuals and companies
  • Exceptional organisational and writing skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken)
  • Experience with tools like CRMs, Google Suite, and other productivity platforms is a plus
