JOB SUMMARY

To lead a team of facilities technicians to maintain the factory building, its surrounding premises, production plant service including preventive maintenance and upgrading of facility equipment and electrical services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Responsible for preventive and routine maintenance; overhaul and modification of building and production equipment; emergency repair of buildings, equipment and utility systems
  2. Assumes responsibility for complete in-house janitorial service and ground maintenance.
  3. Assumes responsibility for site environmental compliance programs.
  4. Ensures all Federal, State and Local permits are obtained and kept current.
  5. Acts as liaison to public utility, environmental and energy agencies.
  6. Ensures all electrical, mechanical and construction work complies with applicable codes and regulations.
  7. Assumes responsibility as Safety Officer, ensuring all employees are trained in safety procedures and hazards.
  8. Establishes and maintains the building's operational flexibility and efficiency.
  9. Responsible for electrical safety.
  10. Plans and manages the facilities budget.
  11. Coordinates and ensures compliance with specifications, regulations, and safety standards for all facilities work.
  12. Supports the Functional Manager with daily activities.
  13. Drives continuous improvement in facilities operations regarding cost, performance, and efficiency.
  14. Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry.
  • Proficiency in determining logistics requirements and strategy implementation.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, with experience in business analytics and optimizing company footprint.
  • Knowledge of international taxes and global customs regimes.
  • Proven success in change management, productivity, and cost reduction programs.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
  • 4-7 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and training.
Additional Requirements
  • Over 5 years of experience in the electro-electronic industry.
  • Knowledge in contract management, material supply, tools, and vendors.
  • Desirable familiarity with Jabil procedures (Jabilization).
  • Knowledge of facilities, building maintenance, and legal documentation (e.g., AVCB, permits, IPTU).
  • Industrial layout and cost management skills.
  • Leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
