  • Candidate must have contractadministration, contractterms and conditions review, and familiarity with either construction or heavy equipment such as generators or air handling units procurement. Paralegal type work would be a plus.
  • With Procurement Manager’s assistance, prepare and maintain project procurement plan
  • Review and assist with preparation of Single Source Justifications
  • Review and assist with preparation of Scope of Work documents
  • Buyer/expediting duties within services and equipment on behalf of client with coordination between the multiple teams
  • Establish Negotiation Plans and conduct or participate in negotiations
  • Manage the RFP process, including commercial evaluations and pre-bid meetings
  • Process change orders, RFIs and submittals
  • Assist with, and when appropriate, implement new contractprocess controls
  • Communicate on a regular basis regarding Procurement matters
  • Produce and compile accurate reports for the project team, stakeholders and clients
  • Identify and continually propose industry standards/improve processes
  • Conduct price analysis, modeling, purchase-price cost analysis and identify competitive benchmarks
  • Change orders management and processing the amendment documentation
  • Proactive and strong contract management required during all construction and equipment manufacturing/delivering process
Qualifications
  • Experience in Construction is desired.
  • Five to ten years of experience in procurement and contractadministration, working on a variety of projects to include technology-based clients
  • Strong understanding of contractrequirements and the preparation of RFXs/RFIs
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
  • Ability to establish and build successful supplier relationships
  • **MUST HAVE Experience with equipment buying and expediting
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency and experience with various procurement methodologies and sourcing techniques
  • Ability to operate and execute effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and challenging deadlines
  • Experience with SAP/ARIBA is a differential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, influencing and persuasion skills
  • Proficient in both Portuguese and English, Spanish will be a plus
