Contracts Manager

Overview

As a Contracts Manager within the IQVIA US Contracting Center (USCC), you will review, draft, and redline contracts within the U.S. business unit, focusing on IQVIA's commercial services, including data, analysis services, consulting, and technology.

Main Responsibilities

1. Draft and review legal and business terms under the guidance of the contract's playbook and attorney support as needed.
2. Independently manage a high volume of legal reviews for contracts of all sizes, ensuring timely turnaround.
3. Develop broad knowledge of the IQVIA US Business Line and its services through reviewing and preparing agreements, along with formal and informal learning.
4. Communicate concerns effectively to USCC and business representatives.
5. Utilize business acumen to identify solutions that address client concerns while aligning with IQVIA's objectives.
6. Assist in implementing and communicating contracting efficiencies, collaborating with other departments and stakeholders as appropriate.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
2. 3-5 years of experience in drafting, reviewing, redlining, and negotiating contracts, preferably within a corporate legal or contracts administration department.
3. Fluent in English.
4. Comfort and experience with legal terminology.
5. Strong project management skills combined with excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
6. Strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
7. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
8. Experience with contract lifecycle management systems like CONGA, Ironclad, or Agiloft is a plus.
