About the Role

We’re hiring a Content Strategist to lead creative, campaign-minded content for an independent artist and her evolving creative agency. While social media is our main stage right now — especially Instagram and TikTok — this root of this role is truly about building compelling stories, brand-aligned assets, and growth-driven experiences across platforms.

You’ll propose post ideas, shape rollouts, direct designers, and occasionally create content yourself. You’ll also collaborate with an international team to support campaigns that drive impact — from song releases and mailing list signups to visual storytelling and community engagement.

This isn’t a traditional marketing role, nor is it just content coordination. It’s for someone who thinks in concepts and cares about execution — who’s both visionary and resourceful, and ready to help shape the voice of something meaningful.

About Areia

Areia is a small but mighty creative agency built to support the work of caedance and other emerging talent. Our team spans Los Angeles, Brasil, and Ecuador. We are currently an all-femme team, with a strong presence of bilingual (English/Portuguese/Spanish) collaborators.

We move fast, communicate clearly, and are doing our best to refine systems that support creativity. We value people who take initiative, own their role, and care deeply about what they help bring to life.

Responsibilities

  • Pitch and develop content ideas that align with current campaigns, releases, and brand tone
  • Build and manage content calendars and rollout plans
  • Coordinate content for visuals, behind-the-scenes, and brand storytelling
  • Collaborate with designers and video editors to bring creative concepts to life
  • Lead strategy and execution for growth initiatives (pre-saves, contests, mailing lists, etc.)
  • Monitor performance analytics and adapt strategies accordingly
  • Occasionally assist with content for modeling and agency arms, if aligned

You Might Be a Fit If You...

  • Have 2+ years managing content in the music, entertainment, or creative industries
  • Are fluent in TikTok and Instagram culture (and love turning trends into art)
  • Are passionate about music, identity, and independent storytelling
  • Are self-managed, proactive, and follow through on what you commit to
  • Can think like a strategist but aren’t afraid to make things yourself in Canva
  • Thrive in collaborative environments and give clear creative direction
  • Have worked in an agency, label, or creative production setting
  • Are familiar with tools like Canva, Wrike (or similar), Google Drive, and basic analytics
  • Bonus: Speak Portuguese or Spanish, or are familiar with Latin American creative culture
  • Bonus: Have experience or interest in email marketing, brand storytelling, or PR
