Job summary

Monks is seeking a social content strategist to join our global marketing production teams in São Paulo. You will create digital content ideas, plan campaigns, and collaborate with planning and data teams to deliver insights-driven proposals.

You’ll develop content calendars, write editorial content for social posts and brand presentations, adapt copy for different formats, and monitor posts to extract insights for future work.

Qualifications

  • BA on communication, arts, advertising or literature.
  • Proven work experience as a Social creative/content strategist or similar for brands or entertainment accounts.
  • Proven experience in reactive content creation, such as digital newspapers content.
  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.
  • Must be aware of pop culture, new series, movies, and social media conversations.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the creative team to generate digital content ideas, strategies, productions or campaign development.
  • Work with the planning area to structure creative proposals and with the data team to build proposals based on insights.
  • Develop and organize content plans, document structuring and administration for client review.
  • Present content calendars to clients.
  • Editorial writing for social media posts, digital video scripts and brand presentations.
  • Follow-up of comments and adjustments by the client.
  • Understand social platforms and trends in real time for new ideas.
  • Adapt texts in different lengths to establish tone and voice of the brand.
  • Daily conversation analysis around the brand to trigger responses and campaigns.
  • Post performance analysis to extract insights for future deliverables.

  • Meetings with the creative team to create digital content ideas, strategies, productions or campaign development.
  • Collaborative work with the planning area to structure creative proposals and with the data team to build proposals based on insights and learning.

  • Correctly adapt texts in different lengths depending on the need of the project by creating tone, voice and written identity of the brand.
  • Daily conversation analysis around the brand to trigger responses and campaigns that can add to the brand.
  • Post performance analysis with the aim of finding valuable insights to improve future deliverables.

Experience You Already Have

  • BA on communication, arts, advertising or literature.
  • Proven work experience as a Social creative/content strategist or similar for brands or entertainment accounts.
