Job Description Summary:
Positions in this sub-family are responsible for developing, managing, and delivering support services to the organization's sales force. Activities include:
- Processing orders from customers and resolving complaints
- Advising customers on product shortages, expected delivery dates, price changes, etc.
- Providing data and reports, generating analytical studies from available sales databases, and consolidating information to support the sales team
- Acting as a liaison between customers, production, distribution, and sales teams
- Selecting, managing, and training on sales-related systems and databases
- Assisting sales teams with individual account and sales territory planning
- Performing administrative duties to ensure smooth operational flow between business, customers, and vendors

- Accountable for ongoing activities; may lead processes or project steps within a broader project
- As an individual contributor, works independently with limited supervision
- As a team leader or supervisor, manages support or para-professional employees with limited responsibilities, setting daily operational objectives

- Recommends enhancements to systems and processes to improve effectiveness

- Explains policies, practices, and procedures within the organization

- Works to justify and gain cooperation on practices, policies, and procedures
Knowledge:
- Typically requires a University Degree (Bachelor) or equivalent experience
- At least 4 years of relevant experience
- In-depth knowledge in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines
