Swile in Brazil seeks a Compliance Specialist to join the Legal, Compliance, Risk and Internal Controls team in São Paulo.

You will shape how our products and processes operate from a Brazilian regulatory perspective, working with local and global teams to strengthen the compliance framework.

The role covers KYC/KYB, AML, regulatory reporting and training, with a close collaboration to the Central Compliance team in France and regular office days in São Paulo.

Qualificações

  • At least 7 years of compliance experience in entities regulated by the Brazilian Central Bank.
  • Solid knowledge of Brazilian financial regulation and compliance practices.
  • Experience with AML, KYC, KYB, transaction monitoring and regulatory reporting.
  • Experience in a Payment Institution, financial institution or fintech.
  • Advanced or fluent English, with ability to work with international teams.
  • A degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • A proactive, pragmatic and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • The ability to manage projects and priorities in a fast-changing environment.

Responsabilidades

  • Provide Compliance guidance on products, processes and initiatives in Brazil.
  • Assess whether products, procedures and operations comply with Brazilian Central Bank regulations and market practices.
  • Design, review and implement Compliance policies, procedures and controls.
  • Support the development and execution of controls related to KYC and KYB, third-party due diligence, PEP screening, transaction monitoring, AML and counter-terrorist financing requirements, gifts and business courtesies, conflicts of interest, and other relevant Compliance topics.
  • Partner with Product, Innovation, Finance, Risk, Internal Controls, Legal and other teams to provide clear and practical regulatory guidance.
  • Work with the Central Compliance team in France to align local practices with global standards and policies.
  • Prepare and deliver internal training on topics such as the Code of Conduct, AML and other Compliance requirements.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports to the Brazilian Central Bank.
  • Support regulatory inspections and supervision activities.
  • Coordinate responses to specific requests and questions from the Brazilian Central Bank.
  • Help build a culture of Compliance across Swile in Brazil.

About the position

We are looking for a Compliance Specialist to join our Legal, Compliance, Risk and Internal Controls team in Brazil.

In this role, you will help shape how our products, policies and business activities operate from a Brazilian Compliance and regulatory perspective. You will work closely with local and global teams to identify scenarios and risks, supporting the business without creating unnecessary friction.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys contributing to new projects, strengthen our Compliance framework in Brazil and work closely with the Central Compliance team in France.

Location of the position: São Paulo - SP. In general, you will be asked to go to the office 3 times per week.

Minimum requirements
Your main responsibilities

What we are looking for
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in Compliance within entities regulated by the Brazilian Central Bank.
  • Solid knowledge of Brazilian financial regulation and Compliance practices.

  • Experience in a Payment Institution, financial institution, fintech or similar regulated environment.
  • Advanced or fluent English, with the ability to work regularly with international teams.
  • A degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.

It would be a plus if you have
  • Experience with credit card operations or payment products.
  • Experience working in a multinational company.
