An established industry player is seeking a Company Representative to oversee the manufacture and quality control of Water Alternating Gas (WAG) manifolds. This pivotal role involves ensuring compliance with HSE standards, supervising technical execution, and managing non-conformities. Location: Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Brazil
Assignment Type: 12-Month Renewable Contract
Start Date: November 2025
Project Context:
The Company Representative will oversee the manufacture, testing, and quality control of Water Alternating Gas (WAG) manifolds and foundations, ensuring strict adherence to project HSE, technical, schedule, and quality requirements.
Core Responsibilities:
HSE Oversight & Compliance:
Ensure full compliance with H3SE standards and STOP WORK policy.
Supervise CTR and Sub-CTR adherence to HSE plans, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and safety controls.
Promote and enforce Ethics and Anti-Corruption policies on site.
Maintain a visible Company presence to uphold site safety integrity and environment protection.
Technical & Quality Supervision:
Oversee execution of tasks per Company specifications for WAG Manifolds and Foundations.
Review procedures, certifications, and qualifications before any activity.
Monitor NDE, NDT, DT (as required), cleanliness, dimensional checks, pressure testing, etc.
Ensure ITP steps are strictly followed and adequately recorded.
Validate readiness of tools, equipment, consumables, and documentation.
Control & Non-Conformity Management:
Sign off control documents; log and escalate non-conformities.
Implement corrective actions in coordination with contractors.
Stop work in the case of safety or quality issues and reassess as needed.
Ensure non-conformities are resolved in a timely, schedule-preserving manner.
Documentation & Reporting:
Review and approve Manufacturing Record Books (MRBs).
Ensure dispatch dossiers and final certifications are complete.
Issue weekly progress reportscovering HSE, QA/QC, and scheduling insights.
Participate in audits and follow up on closure of findings.
Program Monitoring:
Oversee Welding & Welding Qualification Programs.
Monitor testing procedures across all stages (e.g., FAT, integration, Stack-Up, site acceptance).
Evaluate tooling and equipment fitness for purpose with SPS engineering support.
Assess the impact of qualification/testing activities on SPS fabrication schedule.
Qualifications & Experience:
Engineering Degree or Master’s (Mechanical/Subsea/Process preferred) or equivalent professional experience.
20+ years of Oil & Gas experience, with 15+ years on major EPC/subsea projects.
Deep experience with WAG manifolds, subsea structures, and associated testing/QA processes.
Solid understanding of manufacturing workflows, quality control, and inspection regimes.
Familiarity with HSE risk management, control verification, and audit practices.
Fluent in English; Spanish or French is a plus.
QC certifications (e.g., CSWIP, PCN, ASNT) are an advantage.
