A Bar Attendant is responsible for assisting bartenders, waiters, and waitresses in serving and clearing food and beverage orders, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining work stations and outlets in order. The role involves providing excellent service and support to deliver a memorable guest experience.

What will I be doing?

As a Bar Attendant, your responsibilities include:

• Serving guests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner
• Having extensive knowledge of menu offerings
• Managing guest queries effectively
• Following proper reporting procedures for issues
• Practicing Hilton Grooming standards: uniform, cleanliness, personal hygiene
• Assisting callers courteously, taking messages accurately, and passing them promptly
• Completing opening, closing, and side duties efficiently
• Maintaining equipment cleanliness and order
• Requisitioning and ensuring availability of chemicals and supplies
• Sanitizing and cleaning bars before and after duties
• Replenishing bar supplies such as liquor, fruits, ice, and dishes
• Complying with hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation
