Job Description

Professional level sales position capable of supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. The position is responsible for profitable growth of the commercial business via customer retention and growth. It partners with the GM to manage Team Members. The role requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts, sourcing from various channels including special orders, FDO, second sources, etc., and directing drivers to ensure timely and accurate delivery. This is a full-time position.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Maintain commercial customer relationships
  • Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
  • Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
  • Support day-to-day supervision of Team Members
  • Collaborate with GM on coaching and development
  • Dispatch drivers to ensure delivery standards
  • Maintain commercial stocking programs
  • Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Maintain core bank and commercial returns
  • Manage commercial credit accounts
  • Partner with GM to ensure proper driver coverage

  • Flexible working hours including days, evenings, and weekends
Prior Experience

Minimum of 3 years in automotive parts sales preferred, with proven sales ability and team leadership experience.

Education

High school diploma or GED required.

Certificates & Licenses

ASE Certification preferred but not required.

Physical Demands

Must be able to walk, stand, lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds. Must have good vision and dexterity.

Work Environment

Primarily indoor work, with occasional outdoor tasks in various weather conditions. Exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, and noise is possible.

Position is eligible for sales commission based on performance.
