Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Commercial Business Development lead to drive revenue growth for EcoStruxure Automation Expert (EAE), a cutting-edge, software-defined industrial automation solution. This role will focus on expanding market awareness, influencing key decision-makers, and driving adoption among system integrators, OEMs, and industrial end-users, with the ultimate KPI of increasing sales growth in EAE.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Direct sales through customer engagement — promote, prescribe, and close deals for EAE.
  • Identify and initiate relationships with accounts aligned with EAE’s capabilities.
  • Collaborate with broader sales and technical teams to secure large-scale opportunities.

Must be a Sales HUNTER Profile: We seek a highly motivated, results-driven professional with expertise in industrial automation, digital transformation, and Industry 4.0. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, technical sales, and solution consulting, with a proven ability to influence decision-makers and promote new technology adoption.

This role requires strategic thinking, autonomy, and effective collaboration within a matrix organization. The successful candidate will be recognized as a subject matter expert, guiding internal teams and external customers and partners in implementing EcoStruxure Automation Expert (EAE). Knowledge of industrial segments and applications (WWW, MMM, CPG, E&C, Infrastructure, C&SP) is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Experience launching and scaling new products, offers, and solutions.
  • Ability to develop and execute impactful business development strategies.
  • Strong commercial acumen, communication, and stakeholder management skills, from shop floor to C-suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of consultative, technical solution sales experience.
  • Deep understanding of industrial automation and applications.
  • Embedded Software Engineer background with a strong IT focus is advantageous.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
