Jobtailor in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, seeks a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy and secure scalable cloud platforms on Google Cloud Platform. You will work across teams to implement robust infrastructure and automation.

Responsibilities include maintaining health, deploying updates, and producing execution reports while advancing monitoring and security practices. Strong GCP, Terraform, Docker, and scripting skills required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering or related field.
• Strong experience in cloud infrastructure with a focus on GCP.
• Experience deploying application systems and HW/SW components (on-premises & cloud).
• Programming knowledge (language-agnostic).
• IaC management with Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.
• GCP core services: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM.
• GKE, Docker, Helm knowledge for container orchestration.
• Experience managing clusters, deploying apps, and monitoring.
• Networking, security best practices, and incident response basics.
• Python or Shell scripting for automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field;
• Strong experience in cloud infrastructure with a focus on GCP;
• Experience deploying application systems and HW/SW components (on-premises & cloud);
• Programming knowledge (language-agnostic);
• Configuration of HW, SW and/or IT infrastructure components (on-premises & cloud);
• Core GCP services: Hands-on experience with Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), and IAM (Identity and Access Management);
• Containers and orchestration: Deep knowledge of Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Docker, and Helm;
• Experience managing clusters, deploying applications, and monitoring;
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) management: Proven ability with Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager to automate resource provisioning and management;
• Networking: Expertise in Cloud DNS, NSX, Load Balancing, Cloud CDN, and managing routes and subnets in VPCs;
• Security: Knowledge of GCP security best practices, including Cloud Armor, Cloud KMS (Key Management Service), and security policies;
• Monitoring and logging: Experience with Stackdriver (now part of Google Cloud's operations suite), including Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging to troubleshoot and optimize performance;
• Automation and scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Shell scripting to automate operational tasks;
• Databases: Knowledge of GCP database services such as Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, or Cloud Firestore.
