We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our high-impact team. As a key member of the engineering group, you will take ownership of building, optimizing, and scaling our data pipelines and infrastructure.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment, values autonomy, and wants to work with a collaborative international team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and manage data pipelines using Apache Airflow
2. Write clean, efficient code in Python to support scalable ETL/ELT processes
3. Own and evolve internal data infrastructure and integration pipelines
4. Monitor and ensure data quality, reliability, and performance
5. Collaborate with global teammates in English across product and engineering
6. Operate independently while contributing to technical direction and architecture
7. Work during EST hours to align with the core team

Must-Have

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or similar technical roles
• Advanced-level experience in Python programming
• Proven hands-on knowledge of Apache Airflow
• Background working in small teams or startups
• Comfortable working autonomously and owning complete solutions
• Conversational English for team collaboration
• Availability to work within the EST time zone
• Located in Brazil or open to working in a similar time zone

Nice To Have

• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Familiarity with AWS and/or Google Cloud environments
• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools
• Understanding of data quality and observability best practices
