Devopsroles seeks an experienced Cloud CoE Solution Architect in Brazil to drive design and delivery of Azure-based, scalable cloud solutions. You will collaborate with a team of architects and operations, shaping landing zones, security, and governance across projects.

The role requires 5+ years in cloud architecture, hands-on Azure experience, and strong communication. You will mentor teams, influence cloud strategy, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards while advancing adoption.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or similar cloud-focused role.
• Experience designing enterprise-level solutions with scalability, performance, security, and integration in mind.
• Strong knowledge of software development principles and technologies.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders for requirements and guidance.
• Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud and services.

Responsibilities

• Assess business objectives and translate into architectural designs.
• Create architectural diagrams (LLD) and ensure scalability and elasticity.
• Implement cloud solutions using infrastructure-as-code and policy-as-code approaches.
• Ensure security and compliance standards per Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Framework.
• Drive performance and cost optimization and act as cloud ambassador to promote adoption.

Job Description:

As a Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) Solution Architect you will play a critical role in driving the design and delivery of solutions for the organization. You will work with a team of solutions architects and actively work on the development and implementation of Mars’ platforms and cloud-based systems in use every day. The Cloud CoE Client Solutions team works closely with cloud and enterprise architects, operations teams, and other stakeholders to develop the necessary services and landing zones for unique projects that will be deployed to the Mars cloud.

What are we looking for?

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is typically required. Some organizations may accept equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.

Professional Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or a similar role with a focus on cloud architecture and design.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level solutions, considering scalability, performance, security, and integration requirements.
• Strong knowledge of software development principles, methodologies, and technologies.
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to gather requirements, define solution architecture, and provide technical guidance.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud and their services, including hands-on experience in architecting solutions on these platforms.
• Understanding of security principles and best practices, including data protection, identity management, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with architecture frameworks and methodologies, such as TOGAF or similar frameworks, to develop and document solution architectures.

Knowledge and experience:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• In-depth knowledge of software development principles, methodologies, and technologies;
• Proficiency in solution design, including system integration, data modeling, and application architecture;
• Experience with Azure Platform and knowledge of their respective services using infrastructure-as-code approach;
• Experience with other cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, etc) and knowledge of their respective services is a plus;
• Understanding of security principles and best practices, including data protection and identity management;
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF;
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Assess business demands/objectives requirements;
• Create architectural diagrams (LLD);
• Ensure scalability and elasticity;
• Comply with availability and fault tolerance requirements/
• Implement cloud solutions using GitOps approach (Infrastructure-as-code, configuration-as-code, policy-as-code, etc);
• Ensure security and compliance standards based on Cloud Adoption Framework & Well-Architected Framework;
• Performance & Cost optimization;
• SPOC in CCoE for customer LLD/Deployment Projects;
• Assist in cross-functional team design discussions;
• Provide feedback about service catalog available requests;
• Be the cloud ambassador (promote Cloud adoption).
