Qualificações

  • Experiência mínima de 5 anos em liderança na indústria de seguros ou resseguros, principalmente na divisão de sinistros.
  • Fluência em Português e Inglês, Espanhol é um plus.
  • Demonstrar habilidades avançadas em análise de dados e ferramentas de gerenciamento.

The Business Operations team in Corporate Solutions is looking for a manager to lead the Claims Operations team in Brazil.

About the Role:

As the lead of the Brazilian Claims Operations team, you will establish team strategy in conjunction with corporate initiatives and the local Claims function. Your focus will be on growth initiatives, internal controls, staffing and global harmonization, as well as ensuring excellence in services provided internally and externally. You will demonstrate an appropriate sense of urgency and confidence.

  • Deep knowledge of claim theories, practices and regulatory environment for all product lines within Brazil, including Property, Casualty, Marine, Surety and Agriculture, amongst others.
  • We need someone who is skilled at designing processes to fit new products and customer needs and leading teams of low severity claim handlers, experts, and transactional processors.
  • Design and execute of business continuity plans.
  • Have responsibility for human capital management on your team, aligned with Business Operations budget and guaranteeing adherence to global metrics and controls.
  • Ensure the appropriate local staffing, establishing team goals, mentoring, developing engaged and empowered employees.
  • Collaborate in creating new methodologies and techniques that improve efficiency in operations. Demonstrates the ability to independently identify, develop and implement end-to-end process changes. Assist in developing concepts, methodologies, and identifying critical success factors for achieving high results in operations.
  • Manage and report on service delivery metrics related to timeliness, quality, and productivity for the services delivered to the business unit with expected continued improvement against KPIs.
  • Lead projects and initiatives related to business needs and participate in projects as Subject Matter Expert for the business unit supported.

About the Team:

The team is composed by 6 Claims Operations analysts, that provides support to the Claims function of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions in Brazil. The Brazil Claims Operations Lead shall play an important role to ensure the Claims Operations function operate in synch with Claims.

About You:

  • 4-year degree or job-related experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of Leadership experience in Insurance or Reinsurance companies, mainly in Claims division.
  • Must be fully proficient in Portuguese and English languages (reading, written and verbal communication). Spanish is a plus.
  • Requires daily, prolonged use of computers. Occasional overnight travel for training or meetings.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge/application (i.e. able to develop new solutions, judge various methods and tools, and train others) of the following skills: Change Management, Data Analysis & Presentation, Data Management, Line of Business Knowledge, System & Process Support, Company Knowledge, Insurance Fundamentals, Planning & Organizing Management.
  • Demonstrate ability to successfully apply Computer Skills/Office Tools on-the-job.
  • Demonstrate the behaviors expected for professionals in this position which include the following competencies: Adaptability, Analyze, Build Relationships, Collaborate, Focus on Customers and Results Orientation.
  • In addition, Engage & Inspire and Enhance Talent are critical competencies for this senior team lead position.
  • Availability for Hybrid Work Model (3x2)
