What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Gather, organize, and maintain claims data to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Analyze claims data to identify trends, conduct root cause analysis for denials, delays, or errors
• Develop and generate detailed reports and dashboards to communicate findings to management
• Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline claims processing and enhance efficiency
• Serve as the data steward for claims data, ensuring adherence to data governance policies

What is Required (Qualifications):

• Bachelor's degree in Data or Business Analytics, Mathematics, or equivalent
• Minimum of three years of relevant work experience
• Proven experience in data analysis, ideally within the insurance industry
• Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel (V-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
• Knowledge of data governance principles, Master Data Management (MDM), and Reference Data Management (RDM)

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• Experience specifically within homeowners' insurance
• Familiarity with BI/Visualization Tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Experience with data governance and quality tools such as MS Purview or Informatica DQ
• Strong internal customer service skills
