Uptalent.io is seeking a talented and experienced Civil Engineer with Bentley Geopak experience to join our team. The role involves working within the civil engineering industry, specifically producing water line, sewer line, and other dry utility coordination (fiber optic, electric, phone, etc.) for North Carolina Department of Transportation submittals.

Responsibilities

1. Design and develop detailed engineering plans for utility projects, including water and sewer lines, and dry utility coordination.
2. Ensure projects comply with local and national building codes and regulations in North Carolina.
3. Collaborate with contractors to manage project timelines and budgets.
4. Provide technical advice and resolve issues during construction projects.

Requirements

• Engineering degree with 6 to 10 years of experience or an experienced CAD drafter with over 10 years of experience.
• Mandatory MicroStation Geopak experience.
• Experience with NCDOT roadway profiles.
• Experience in Utility Design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
