Are you an experienced financial professional?

Chief Financial Officer

We're looking for a Chief Financial Officer to:

1. Be accountable for the financial reporting of the legal entity, including daily and monthly reporting to internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies such as Local Boards, Central Bank, FINMA, and SNB.
2. Monitor compliance with financial limits and thresholds, supporting the organization in managing these aspects.
3. Collaborate with external auditors to provide assurance and sign-off on financial statements and audits.
4. Deliver entity-specific information and reports over longer periods, including ICAAP, Recovery and Resolution planning, to stakeholders.
5. Represent the entity's interests at governance forums, including meetings with the business, legal entity board, risk committees, and regulators.
6. Support information requests, inquiries, scenario analysis, and stress testing to aid in legal entity management.
7. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including calculations and payments.
8. Develop and implement investor relations strategies to communicate the company's financial health and prospects to controlling shareholders.

This role is based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, within the finance team. As the UBS BB CFO, you will work closely with the LatAm Regional Controller and oversee all finance activities, including local financial reporting, management reporting, financial planning, capital management, accounts payable, tax compliance, and investor relations.

Your expertise

• Previous experience in the financial sector is preferred.
• Proven experience in investor relations and stakeholder communication.
• Accounting degree or equivalent in finance and economics.
• Good understanding of relevant regulations, such as Brazilian Central Bank rules.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Highly proficient in Excel.
• Methodical, accurate, with strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Availability to work onsite in Sao Paulo.
