What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Manage individual restoration projects, including planning, design, and implementation activities
- Prepare grant proposals through various funding sources
- Oversee contracts with funders, consultants, and subcontractors
- Build and maintain relationships with agency, NGO, tribal, and private partners for project collaboration
- Organize stakeholder involvement and outreach meetings with local communities
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Based in the California Central Coast region
- Master’s degree with 2 years relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience in conservation or restoration project management
- Direct experience or transferable skills in conservation project management
- Experience working with landowners, agencies, and scientists in a collaborative environment
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

- Experience with water conservation and stream restoration principles
- Familiarity with state and federal grant programs
