With a focus on professionalism, reliability, and customer satisfaction, we are seeking a highly motivated Household Goods Moving Class A CDL Drivers OTR to join our team on the West Coast. This role offers the opportunity for growth and advancement in a dynamic work environment.

Job Summary:

As a Household Goods Moving Class A CDL Driver OTR at All Service Moving, you will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering shipments to our military personnel's locations while also handling the loading and unloading of goods. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely completion of moving projects, while adhering to all company policies and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, in compliance with all federal and state regulations governing transportation.
2. Pack, load and unload shipments of military personnel onto and off trucks, ensuring proper handling and secure placement to prevent damage during transit.
3. Transport goods between locations in a timely and efficient manner, following planned routes and schedules.
4. Attend training sessions to learn company procedures, safety protocols, and best practices for moving operations.
5. Maintain accurate records of shipments, including paperwork and billing processes, and ensure all documentation is completed correctly.
6. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate logistics and provide updates on delivery status.
7. Demonstrate self-motivation and initiative in completing tasks and resolving challenges independently.
8. Adhere to company policies regarding punctuality, attendance, and professional conduct at all times.
9. Regularly lift heavy objects weighing 50 pounds or more, and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading shipments.
10. Pass a drug test and background check prior to employment and comply with ongoing testing requirements as mandated by company policy.

Qualifications:

1. Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record. New License is okay.
2. Ability to understand shipment paperwork, billing processes, and other documentation related to moving operations.
3. Previous experience in the moving industry is preferred but not required.
4. Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy objects repeatedly throughout the workday.
5. Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
6. Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
7. Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
8. Willingness to undergo training and travel for work assignments as needed.
9. Must have a valid license, birth certificate, social security card, and passport.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $0.60 per mile
