Description

The Amazon Brazil 3P team is looking for a customer obsessed, creative and data-driven marketer to lead marketing initiatives. The selected candidate will play a significant role in driving sales and creating a best-in-class customer experience by owning on-site merchandising with additional responsibilities in optimizing traffic (Search, Outbound). This candidate will support activities of products/categories launches and promotional events.

The Category Marketing Manager will act as the point of contact for the Amazon Shopping Experience and Marketing & Traffic teams on behalf of category business, centralizing all requests and reporting results.

The successful Marketing Manager must be able to:

  • Roll up the sleeves and execute the day-to-day campaigns to drive product and category discoverability;

  • Dive deep into performance and qualitative metrics to extract key insights for the business improvement;

  • Propose and analyze the results of on-site experience testing, communicate learnings upwards, and use the data to drive future optimization;

  • Have a thorough understanding of the industry, seasonality and global trends/events, and continually monitor the underlying technological development; and

  • Blend of analytical skills and keen attention to details that leads to the high standard deliveries

Key job responsibilities

  • Own all on-site campaigns for 3P categories

  • Develop and analyze performance metrics and articulate these into written narratives to drive business decisions and opportunities

  • Partner across internal teams to develop and implement optimal customer experiences

  • Work with cross-functional teams on launch products and categories, calendaring and execution planning.

  • Conduct regular quality control of our website by drawing on quantitative results.

  • Continuously observe industry trends and refresh the website to reflect such trends.

  • Build processes to ensure a smooth execution across multiple teams, and continuously improve the workflow to drive operational excellence.

  • Create experiment frameworks, analyzing results, and structuring scalable campaigns through AB Testing.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

  • Experience in professional non-internship marketing

  • Proficient in English, both written and oral

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs

  • Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation
