Category Manager, IM&S LATAM (Corporate Services)

Be responsible for developing, maintaining a strategy, and managing a Category Excellence Team to source a competitive and cost-effective limited portfolio of raw materials across all manufacturing plants, in accordance with GP policies and procedures, while meeting financial and non-financial targets.

Responsibilities/Description:

• Possess excellent procurement experience in your responsible products and experience working in a matrix environment.
• Recognized as an expert in your area of responsibility, with product knowledge and contacts in key supply markets.
• Have strong knowledge of business practices, financial concepts, impact analyses, and procurement best practices.
• Apply AT Kearney's 7-step strategic sourcing methodology for global sourcing.
• Demonstrate strong project management, leadership, and presentation skills. Manage people with direct reports.
• Hold CPSM, SPSM, or related certifications in supply chain or procurement excellence. Experience in supplier relations management.
• Identify, develop, and promote new and existing supplier relationships globally.
• Engage cross-functionally with R&D, Commercial, Creation, Production, Quality, etc.
• Exhibit strong written and oral communication skills in English and demonstrate global interaction leadership.
• Be an expert in planning and managing complex and new projects.
• Understand matrix organizations and proactively lead through influence.
• Represent IFF effectively outside the organization.
• Leverage team talents, influence, and manage team dynamics.
• Understand and explain dealing with ambiguity; coach and mentor team members.
• Engage and motivate people, challenge the organization, and foster a learning environment.
• Share knowledge and insights actively and provide guidance and coaching to other departments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• 10 years of experience, with an average of 7 years in the current position.
• Training/Certifications: CPSM, SPSM, or related in supply chain or procurement excellence.
