Your impact

Support all sites in SA for ECO processes for Steel, Metalfab, and Plastics, and support Raw Steel category processes in SA. The Jr Buyer will support both ECO buyer in SA and Raw Steel Specialist buyer for SA.

Improve our product costs through market testing, supplier analysis, and cost breakdown analysis. Support our manufacturing and logistics departments to keep our production lines running smoothly.

A Jr Buyer at AGCO has several main responsibilities:

• Achieve annual results, savings, and cost efficiencies for AGCO sites;
• Manage suppliers in the Raw Steel commodity, identify and implement cost reductions;
• Support departments such as logistics and engineering, working as a partner across the company;
• Determine suitable suppliers based on technical, commercial, and approval criteria;
• Provide continuous support to involved areas (Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Manufacturing) with all necessary information during the ECO cycle.

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration/Commerce, or related fields;
• Intermediate level of English is required;
• Communication skills, junior-level negotiation experience in Purchasing, hands-on, result-driven;
• Good interpersonal skills;
• Ability to make decisions under pressure;
• Strong analytical skills;
