BAS (Business Assurance Support) is the organization that identifies and reconciles open match sets (OMS) in accounts payable and receivable within the payments landscape. This timely reconciliation is critical for maintaining accurate financial reporting, reducing audit risks, and ensuring proper cash flow management. Our team works with sensitive data to understand patterns, address issues, and protect the company's financial integrity while optimizing working capital.

As a Business Reconciliation Analyst, you will work with multiple teams to solve reconciliation processes and provide financial support. You'll analyze anomalies identified in Cost of Payments (COP) reports, address solutions, and drive accuracy and efficiency in the P&L statement. This role involves working with large amounts of data and complex challenges, transforming them into clear business problem statements with corresponding solutions that benefit store results, customer experience, and our product offerings.

Key job responsibilities
  • Identify patterns in reconciliation issues that reveal systemic problems requiring internal addressing or partner collaboration
  • Build compelling business cases to influence tech and product teams to prioritize solutions in a resource-constrained environment
  • Partner with external stakeholders to implement fixes or develop interim solutions
  • Create innovative processes and content to empower support teams, driving efficiency and simplifying complex problems
  • Analyze financial anomalies and develop solutions
  • Provide timely, comprehensive assessments of COP components' contribution to an efficient P&L

  • Solve complex operational challenges by diving deep to uncover root causes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and improve operational support models
  • Lead conversations about automation and scaling solutions, including AI applications and self-service opportunities
  • Streamline processes to reduce aging of pending OMS
  • Translate data into actionable insights that drive meaningful changes across departments
  • Manage program timelines and deliverables while maintaining strong team relationships
  • Craft clear, impactful communications to keep stakeholders informed and aligned
