Department Overview

As part of Nestig’s Business Intelligence team, you will have the opportunity to uncover insights that drive smarter decisions across the organization. You will report to the Manager, Data Analytics from the São Paulo office and collaborate closely with our cross-functional teams, including Operations, Tech, and Marketing, to ensure our strategies are informed by accurate, actionable data. You’ll empower teams with the reports, dashboards, insights, and analysis they need to make operations more efficient and effective.

This full-time position will be based out of our São Paulo office in Pinheiros.


What You'll Do
  • Extract, clean, and model data from various internal and external sources to ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability across reporting and analysis workflows;
  • Develop, maintain, and evolve key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational performance, customer behavior, and business health;
  • Design and deliver real-time, user-friendly dashboards and reports to support day-to-day decision-making, leveraging tools such as SQL, Power BI, or other BI platforms as needed;
  • Automate and optimize data pipelines and manual reporting tasks to improve data availability, reduce error rates, and enable scalability;
  • Support the development and maintenance of a centralized data infrastructure, contributing to the evolution of an operational data store and scalable data warehouse;
  • Contribute to data governance best practices by documenting processes, flagging inconsistencies, and identifying ways to improve the overall quality and transparency of data across the company.
What You'll Need
  • 1+ years experience in a similar, business intelligence role, ideally within an early-stage, growth-oriented company
  • Must be able to work onsite in our São Paulo office three (3) days a week [Monday, Wednesday, Thursday], as well as additionally as needed
  • Proficient English communications skills (B2+), both verbal and written
  • Intermediate proficiency in PowerBI, Excel, and SQL
  • Programming knowledge (e.g., Javascript, Power Query M, etc.) preferred
  • A passion for all things data — you love uncovering insights, manipulating data, creating dashboards and reports, solving problems, and helping teams make smarter, data-informed decisions.
  • Comfort with the ambiguity of changing priorities, and the flexibility to embrace new ideas within a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to autonomously manage multiple assignments at once, while meeting deadlines and analyzing impact
  • A willingness to roll up your sleeves and wear multiple hats
  • Self-starter with a can-do, team-oriented attitude and ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Legal authorization to work in Brazil [We are available to hire as Freelancer ("PF") or Contractor ("PJ").]
