Responsibilities

RTS International and Shamrock Trading Corporation are looking for a Business Development Manager to focus on our growth opportunities in Brazil. This is a 1099, contract sales position, and is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and closing new accounts for RTS International within the region. An ideal candidate will be self-motivated with an outgoing, ambitious, and dynamic sales personality.

  • Develop new international business opportunities using strategic sales tactics, including but not limited to solicitation, client referrals, networking, and development of agent relationships.
  • Effectively present and explain complex financial products and their intended value to prospective clients.
  • Build and maintain new and current international customer relationships through phone and in-person visits.
  • Manage and maintain a robust pipeline to achieve monthly sales goals.
  • Negotiate spreads and maximize profitability on all new business.
  • Regularly collaborate with agent partners.
  • Follow up on sales leads and client referrals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of business development experience. Experience in the financial sector or selling services to manufacturers is a plus.
  • Demonstrated record of success providing professional, solutions-based sales over the phone and in-person.
  • Self-driven with a proven ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Desire to work in a competitive sales and team environment.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Experience selling within Brazil.
  • Native Portuguese proficiency and English business proficiency required.
  • Must be able to travel within Brazil without restrictions; up to 50% travel required.
  • Ideally located in any of the following cities: Porto Alegre, Curitiba.
