Overview

Wheaton Van Lines is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Business Development to join our team. In this role, you will identify and develop business opportunities that drive revenue from National Account customers, ensuring that sales goals are consistently met. You will play a key role in overseeing the sales growth and business development of our corporate segment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively prospect for new business opportunities and engage in sales calls with corporate accounts.
  • Utilize CRM systems to gather actionable metrics that enhance sales and client relations.
  • Collaborate with marketing leadership to craft a cohesive sales and marketing strategy for existing accounts.
  • Provide regular updates to the VP of Sales and Marketing on field activities and progress.
  • Build and maintain influential relationships with corporate move management companies and other potential partners.
  • Identify high-impact industry events and organizations to elevate Wheaton's visibility and prospect engagement, while defining success metrics.
  • Foster and sustain relationships with both existing and new accounts.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Evaluate business intelligence platforms and recommend enhancements as needed.
  • Work closely with Regional Sales Directors and network agents to ensure account success.
Qualifications
