Job Posting : Junior Business Development Associate (Junior to mid-level)

Position : Full-Time

About FortyGuard : FortyGuard is a leading climate-tech startup transforming urban heat intelligence with precise urban temperature data (2-meter accuracy) and advanced heat analytics through our TemperatureOS (tOS) platform. We empower enterprises, governments, and urban planners globally to effectively tackle urban heat challenges and build resilient urban systems and more productive commerce.

Position Summary : We are seeking resilient, adaptable, and ambitious Junior Business Development Associates to accelerate our growth, enhance client relationships, and actively contribute to our strategic business objectives. This role offers extensive collaboration across technical, product, and executive teams, internally and externally, requiring proactive outreach, strategic content creation, and dynamic engagement within a rapidly evolving startup.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement targeted outreach campaigns via email marketing, CRM platforms, and lead-generation tools to drive significant user and client growth.
  • Prepare persuasive, client-specific proposals, engaging presentations (including design elements), and accurate technical documentation.
  • Continuously enhance website content, blogs, whitepapers, and marketing materials clearly highlighting FortyGuard’s market impact, innovation, the problem being solved, and our unique approach.
  • Coordinate and facilitate client meetings, manage diligent follow-ups (including setting up automated systems and using AI tools), and comprehensively support client engagement activities related to the Dashboard, API enterprise integrations, and advisory roles.
  • Identify, engage, and onboard new clients, conduct impactful product demonstrations, and ensure seamless client integration and satisfaction with our SaaS solutions.
  • Contribute strategically to critical business documents, such as business plans, go-to-market strategies, investor pitches, and competition submissions. Actively seek international competitions and stage opportunities for FortyGuard’s visibility and growth.
  • Engage proactively with company advisors to ensure strategic alignment and effective communication.
  • Innovate and execute social media and digital marketing strategies to significantly boost brand visibility, public engagement, and user acquisition.

Must-Have Qualifications :

  • Demonstrated experience in digital outreach, CRM, and effective lead generation.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and proactive approach to problem-solving (we can't insist enough on how important is this).
  • Proficiency in proposal writing, impactful presentations (including design abilities using platforms such as KeyNote or Figma), and meticulous technical documentation.
  • Outstanding organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
  • Expertise in digital marketing platforms and analytical tools.

Success Metrics :

  • Achieve defined user acquisition and client onboarding targets.
  • Measurably increase engagement through outreach and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Successfully attain or exceed set business development milestones (with bonus incentives).
