Business Developer North America

PagBrasil is looking for a Sr. Business Developer – North America to join its commercial team, working on-site in Porto Alegre (RS) or São Paulo (SP).

This person will be responsible for building strong relationships with North American clients, focusing on new business opportunities in the International Pix, Pix Roaming, and other PagBrasil product verticals. Additionally, they will be key in developing and strengthening a strategic network of contacts with clients and partners in English-speaking countries across North America with identified potential.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead prospecting and marketing strategies with New Business and Marketing teams for International Pix and Pix Roaming opportunities in the designated region.
2. Build and strengthen a strategic network of clients and partners in potential markets.
3. Manage qualified inbound and outbound international leads.
4. Conduct remote and in-person meetings with prospects and partners to present PagBrasil’s solutions.
5. Plan and execute business trips to accelerate negotiations and build strong relationships.
6. Represent PagBrasil at industry events to promote International Pix and Pix Roaming.
7. Gain deep knowledge of key solutions’ technical and financial processes.
8. Draft and review contracts, ensuring compliance with internal policies, legal guidelines, and corporate governance.
9. Stay updated on competitors’ solutions and strategies.
10. Negotiate pricing, terms, and commercial conditions aligned with company goals.
11. Oversee client onboarding and testing in collaboration with support and operations teams.
12. Track sales funnel progress, logging interactions and opportunities in Salesforce.
13. Participate in internal strategic meetings, contributing insights about the North American market.
14. Manage contract renegotiations, risk mitigation, and crisis resolution for strategic accounts.
15. Oversee the International Pix and Pix Roaming sales funnel, focusing on retention and business co-development.
16. Create tailored commercial proposals and high-value contracts while ensuring compliance.

Requirements:

1. Fluent Portuguese (spoken and written); Fluent English (spoken and written);
2. Flexibility to travel frequently (sales tours, events);
3. Inside sales, cold calling, and negotiation techniques;
4. Completed higher education in Business Administration, Commercial Management, International Relations, or related fields;
5. Proven experience in B2B consultative sales;
6. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Nice to have:

1. Postgraduate degree (completed or in progress);
2. Experience as Account Manager, Customer Success, Business Development, or related roles;
3. Experience in the payments or financial solutions market;
4. Experience in B2B sales in the tech industry;
5. Knowledge of the Brazilian financial, regulatory, and payments ecosystem;
6. Knowledge of the North American financial, regulatory, and payments ecosystem.
