The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for Redispersible Powders (RDP) / Cellulose Ethers /SPC/WPC floor across Chile. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, market insight, and relationship management to achieve revenue targets, expand market share, and strengthen customer partnerships in the construction chemicals sector.

Key Responsibilities

1.Sales&Business Development:

• Identify and target new customers (manufacturers of dry-mix mortars, tile adhesives, EIFS, plasters, paints, SPC/WPC Floor Distributor / Dealer etc.) to expand market penetration.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets for RDP and cellulose ether products.

2.Customer Relationship Management:

• Serve as the primary technical/commercial contact for key accounts, addressing product specifications, pricing, and supply chain needs.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the construction chemicals sector in Mexico.
• Negotiate contracts, manage pricing strategies, and oversee tender processes.
• Collaborate with marketing, technical support, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless customer service.

Qualifications & Skills

1.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or related field. MBA preferred.

2.Experience:

• 5+ years in sales/business development within the construction chemicals, specialty polymers, or building materials industry.
• Proven track record selling SPC/WPC Floor, RDP, cellulose ethers, starch ethers, or similar additives.
• Established network in Mexico’s construction/industrial manufacturing sector.

3.Technical Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of mortar formulations, RDP functionality (film formation, adhesion), and cellulose ether applications (water retention, rheology).

4.Language: Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).

5.Travel: Willingness to travel up to domestically or international

6.Working experience in Elotex, Wacker，Dow are preferred.
