Job summary

Halliburton is seeking a Well Engineer in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Under supervision, you will prepare integrated well intervention proposals, design services, and oversee plans, programs, and execution with a focus on technical integrity.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering, 4+ years in well services, and advanced English; Spanish is preferred. CREA license is required. Full-time role with global opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4 or more years of well services/intervention experience is preferred.
• Experience in Well Intervention and Abandonment.
• Well Control Certificate is preferred.
• Experience in Integrated Projects.
• Supervisory experience and exposure to multi‑discipline operations is preferred.
• Advanced English is required.
• Spanish is preferred.
• CREA is required.

• Responsible for day-to-day operations monitoring. Participates in risk assessments, forecasts, and plans medium- and long-term needs to meet program requirements, anticipating operational changes and needs.
• Prepares equipment lists and identifies long-lead items.
• Ensures effective communication within the project.
• Performs engineering studies to solve recurring issues.
• Prepares End-of-Well reports and contributes to knowledge management.
