Job summary

Halliburton is seeking an experienced Senior Technician-Logging and Perforating to diagnose and repair complex surface and downhole systems. You will supervise and mentor technicians while ensuring high standards in maintenance of logging equipment and tools.

The role requires extensive knowledge of surface systems, open and cased hole tools, and lab testing equipment; readiness to visit field locations and participate in radiation record keeping as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as Senior Technician-Logging and Perforating or equivalent electronics experience.
• Strong knowledge of surface systems and downhole tools.
• Experience with lab testing equipment and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair surface and downhole electronic and mechanical systems.
• Supervise and train other technicians to maintain logging equipment.
• Coordinate administrative duties: timekeeping, reports and safety programs.

Job Duties

Under general supervision, diagnoses and repairs surface and downhole electronic and mechanical systems problems. Supervises and trains other Technicians to gain knowledge and experience in maintaining logging equipment and tools. Coordinates and fulfils administrative responsibilities such as timekeeping, communications, reports and safety programs. Requires extensive knowledge of surface systems, open and cased hole tools, and lab testing equipment and may assist in radiation record keeping. Expected to visit field locations when needed to help solve equipment technical problems. Job Role has budgetary type of accountabilities or directly impacts a revenue center&aposs viability or its quality of service via personal contributions. Job role contributes directly to value creation. Skills are typically acquired through 2 years experience as a Senior Technician-Logging and Perforating or equivalent experience in electronics and successful completion of the Ft Worth maintenance school.
