Qualificações

• Experiência anterior com qualquer linguagem de programação (preferencialmente Python e/ou JavaScript).
• Experiência anterior em desenvolvimento backend (API Restful e integração).
• Conhecimento de sistemas de folha de pagamento e rotinas de RH.

Responsabilidades

• Participar de scrums diários para entender responsabilidades e priorizar tarefas.
• Desenvolver e testar o código em um ambiente ágil.
• Atuar como ponto de contato para suporte durante um dia da semana.

ADP is hiring an Associate Developer (Progress) for eXpert team:

In this role, you will work within a scrum team to bring the designs and ideas to life for new or improved web applications. This work will support a mix of internal and external clients, and you will be working on projects currently in production.

You will start your day on a scrum call to prioritize and track work. Within the team you work on, you will choose user stories to work within a sprint cycle. You will spend most of your day developing and testing your code. Every three weeks, you will be involved in the release activities.

As an Associate Developer, you will work closely with your team. You'll have a hands-on role designing, developing, debugging, and deploying software solutions where you can leverage your experience and knowledge. You'll have mentors that will balance the assigning of user stories through prioritization and consideration of the technical interests of each developer on the team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Here's what you can expect on a typical day:

• Scrums.We'll start each day with a scrum, working together to understand responsibilities, ID any issues, and communicate coding priorities;
• Coding.Working in week sprints, you must keep up with timelines and good coding standards.Your primary responsibility is to deliver features on time;
• Continuous Learning.We're always learning new approaches, and you are comfortable learning as you go to find solutions;
• Support.You're working on products currently in use. You will act as a point of contact for one day/week, supporting your clients for any urgent issues that require resolution. You'll start those days with your regular work activity but will have to switch gears to a support role as needed throughout your assigned support day.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL NEED TO:

• Have Intermediate English proficiency or higher;
• Have previous experience with any programming language (preferablyPython and/or Javascript);
• Have previous experience with backend development (API Restful and integration);
• Have knowledge of payroll systems and HR routines.

YOU GET BONUS POINTS IF:

• You have previous experience with Progress 4GL (programming language);
• You know how to write and optimize queries using Progress;
• You know how to create components with Stencil;
• You know how to use Redux and Context API to do state management;
• You have experience with authentication and authorization.
