We are seeking a talented Telecommunications Solutions Engineer with expertise in Blue Planet solutions and telecommunication technologies. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Designing Blue Planet solutions in collaboration with the Delivery Architect and project team, including creating network, service topology, and visualizations for telecommunication / networking technologies.
2. Participating in customer discussions to understand requirements, clarify implementation details, and support user acceptance testing.
3. Writing and maintaining solution documentation.
4. Implementing project solutions using Java, Spring, Neo4J, JSON, REST, JUnit, Angular, Drools.
5. Optimizing database queries and procedures for Neo4J and SQL.
6. Supporting configuration management scripts for Blue Planet’s CI/CD processes.
7. Creating device and service models for technologies such as DWDM / OTN, SONET, MPLS, GPON, FTTH, etc.
8. Continuously training in new technologies and Blue Planet products.
9. Managing infrastructure automation using Terraform and integrating it into deployment pipelines.

Minimum qualifications include:

• Background in telecommunication technologies (SONET, HFC, Wireless, DWDM, Ethernet, 5G) and their representation in OSS Inventory and Automation systems.
• Experience in implementing enterprise-level software solutions for mission-critical OSS systems.
• Experience working with vendor Professional Service organizations on fast-paced projects.
• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle methodologies: Waterfall, Agile, Oracle Unified Method (OUM).

Additional skills that are a plus:

• Backend frameworks/libraries: Maven, Spring Data, Security, MVC.
• Testing frameworks: JUnit, SoapUI, Postman, Cucumber.
• Frontend frameworks/libraries: Angular 2+, React, Node.js / npm, D3.js, gulp.
• Other skills: AWS Cloud, CI/CD, ElasticSearch, Drools, Kafka, ReST (Spring MVC), SSO (LDAP, OAuth2), Camunda/BPMN.
• Programming fundamentals: design patterns, data structures, relational and graph databases.
