Our company is excited to have an opening for a new role!

We are seeking an Accountant / Bookkeeper with financial education or experience and excellent communication skills. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a keen interest in accounting practices. Knowledge of formulas and spreadsheets is essential. We value individuals with excellent written and spoken English, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

This is a casual role for up to 10 hours per month initially. Hours are flexible, but availability for occasional Zoom calls in EST US Time after 6 pm is required. Experience with accounting, understanding balance sheets and P&L statements is necessary. Full training will be provided, with opportunities for growth based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Monthly and Weekly P&L statements
  • Generate monthly ads to sales conversion reports
  • Conduct monthly expense breakdown analysis
  • Prepare quarterly BAS statements
  • Create cash flow forecasts
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns
  • Perform other relevant accounting tasks as needed

Major Requirements:

  • High proficiency in English
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Education in Finance or Accounting
  • A willingness to learn Australian accounting and tax regulations
  • Ability to perform bank reconciliations and prepare Profit and Loss statements
  • Proficiency in Google Spreadsheets and advanced formulas
  • Strong communication skills within a team
  • Reliable internet and power supply (proof required) and a fast PC or laptop
  • Availability for Zoom meetings between 6-10 pm EST (New York time)
  • Efficient and dependable work ethic
  • Ability to follow instructions precisely
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
