Bookkeeper/Accountant/Google Sheets

Our company is excited to have an opening for a new role!

We are seeking an Accountant / Bookkeeper with financial education or experience and great communication skills. This role is ideal for someone who hasgreat analytical skills anda keen interest in accounting practices. Also, knows how to work with formulas and spreadsheets. We value people with great written and spoken English, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

This is a casual role for up to 10 hours per month initially. Hours are flexible but we are looking for someone who will be available to get on a Zoom call from time to time inEST US Time after 6 pm. Experience with accounting, understandingbalance sheets and P&L is required. The company may offer growth opportunities depending on performance. Full training is provided to meet current needs, but you’ll be expected to take it beyond this.

Key Responsibilities :

• Monthly and Weekly P&L statements
• Monthly ads to sales conversions report
• Monthly expense breakdown analysis
• Quarterly BAS statements
• Cash Flow forecast
• Assistance in Preparation of Tax Return
• Other relevant statements as they arise

Here are the major requirements :

• High Proficiency in English
• Minimum 3 years experience previously
• Education in Finance / Accounting
• Must be willing to learn Australian Accounting and Tax
• Be able to do Bank reconciliations, Profit and Loss Statements
• Must be Proficient in Google Spreadsheets and advanced formulas
• Great communication skills within a team
• Stable power + internet connection (proof) + fast PC / Laptop
• Ability to go on Zoom 6 -10 pm EST (New York)
• Efficient and reliable worker
• Able to follow instructions to precision
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Exceptional attention to detail (!!!>
