As a Biomedical Services Specialist at DaVita, you’ll be trained to repair & regularly service our Dialysis Machines. You will become part of a Team that values work-life balance and where your personal and professional growth is a top priority.

This will cover our Suffolk, VA area (on call pay, mileage reimbursement & additional travel pay if outside your designated area offered)

DaVita has an open position for a Biomedical Services Specialist who keeps our life-giving dialysis treatments "up and running" every day in our clinics! If you love repairing engines or other types of machines, are the person your friends and family turn to when something is broken, and thrive in a demanding environment, you could play a vital role as one of DaVita's clinic guardians.

Do you have?

1. Mechanical abilities, repairs, strong electronics knowledge & diagnostics (WE WILL TRAIN & CERTIFY the right candidate).
2. Great communication skills – DaVita teammates communicate openly, honestly, and frequently.
3. Tech savvy, can troubleshoot with ease.
4. Solid computer skills – Our teammates regularly use MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook), the internet, and DaVita-specific applications.
5. Available for on-call rotations when needed.

Requirements:

1. High School Diploma (GED) – Accredited HSD or GED REQUIRED at time of onboarding.
2. A valid driver’s license – Required to drive between clinics.
3. Close proximity – Must reside fairly close to the clinics & Hospitals for emergency response coverage.
