Role Overview

As a Billing Operations Specialist, you will collaborate with Sales, Finance, Development, and Operations teams to ensure excellent customer service regarding subscriptions and payments. This role blends accounts receivable and customer service responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily in writing with clients,
• Answer inquiries and resolve account issues,
• Process monthly invoices,
• Contact customers with outstanding invoices,
• Receive and update incoming payments in the receivable database,
• Post invoices and receipts,
• Manage prepayments, invoicing, and product/service updates,
• Handle chargebacks and identify fraudulent activities,
• Document billing inquiries and report them,
• Provide progress reports to supervisors.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Customer Support,
• Quick learner, proactive, and eager to grow in a dynamic environment,
• Experience with subscription-based services,
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills,
• Detail-oriented with a passion for numbers,
• Strong prioritization and time management skills,
• Excellent customer service philosophy,
• Proficient in English (written and verbal), upper-intermediate or higher,
• Deep understanding of G Suite,
• Knowledge of ChargeBee or similar billing software (preferred),
• Experience with supplier portals like Coupa, Ariba, etc.,
• Availability for split-shift hours (11 AM to 3 PM and 6 PM to 11 PM UTC), including a 1-hour lunch break.
