What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with clients to configure and customize the WoundExpert billing software for efficient billing and claims submissions
- Provide training and education on billing processes and best practices within the software
- Guide clients through initial setup and data migration for a smooth transition
- Troubleshoot and resolve implementation-related issues, coordinating with technical support as needed
- Assist clients with insurance and Medicare credentialing processes to ensure successful claims submission
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- 6+ years of relevant work experience, including 2+ years in software implementation and billing in Wound Care
- Proven experience in medical billing and coding, with emphasis on wound care
- In-depth knowledge of Medicare and commercial insurance credentialing processes
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with EMR platforms and CRM tools for clinical data reporting
- Knowledge of compliance and audit readiness in healthcare
- Familiarity with denial management and resolution workflows
- Understanding of adult learning principles to enhance client education
