Job Title: Outsystems Developer ( migrating from O11 to ODC )

Location: Remote – LATAM

Language: Conversational English

Responsibilities:

• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute insights and innovative ideas.
• Lead and mentor a team of software developers.
• Collaborate with other technical teams and business analysts to ensure successful project delivery.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, viable applications.
• Design, develop, and test Outsystems applications using best practices and coding standards.
• Assess and improve existing applications’ performance, architecture, and design by applying Outsystems design patterns.
• Conduct root cause analysis to resolve defects using knowledge of applications, interfaces, and technologies.
• Maintain professionalism and effective communication with all levels of employees.
• Build flexible data models and ensure seamless integration points in applications.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3 + years or more as Developer with Outsystems.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Must have experience migrating from O11 to ODC for both reactive and non-reactive applications
• Strong proficiency in the Outsystems platform, including Service Studio and Integration Studio.
• Expertise in architecture patterns, solution design, and high-performance application development.
• Extensive experience in developing scalable, secure, and high-performance Outsystems applications.
• Proficiency in developing screens, web blocks, timers, server/service actions, client actions, and data actions within the Outsystems environment.
• Familiarity with relational database languages like SQL or Oracle, and experience writing T-SQL queries.
• Experience using the Outsystems architecture dashboard and the Discovery tool to validate application design and manage technical debt.
• Knowledge of relational data modeling principles, and experience building database objects using E-R modeling tools.
• Proficiency in developing apps with responsive web design compatible across various devices, including experience with SOAP and RESTful APIs.
• Experience working within agile/scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Azure Boards, Jira, and Confluence.
• Familiarity with Outsystems Lifetime and Service Center.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, proactively communicate status, and resolve project risks.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Preferred: Outsystems certifications such as Reactive Web Developer.
