We are seeking a seasoned and skilled Technology Manager with a strong focus on Big Data to lead a segment of our technology function.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Roadmap Management: Ensure the alignment of the roadmap with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  2. Team Leadership: Oversee two or more cross-functional data teams of approximately 10-30 members, setting performance goals and ensuring the achievement of Objectives & Key Results (OKRs).
  3. Collaboration: Work with peers and key stakeholders from various product lines to maintain high standards of delivery, quality, and performance, while identifying obstacles and implementing process improvements.
  4. Information Sharing: Promote consistent information sharing among all teams under your supervision and across different verticals.
  5. Best Practices: Develop and uphold best practices for data governance, quality, security, and privacy in line with industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
  6. Data Solutions: Provide scalable, secure, and cost-effective data solutions to support data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
  7. Industry Trends: Stay informed on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to keep the company competitive and innovative.
  8. Employee Development: Foster a culture of continuous growth, high retention, and engagement among employees.
  9. Staffing: Assess team needs, identify potential risks, and actively engage in the hiring process.
  10. Leadership: Offer leadership, mentorship, and career development opportunities for team members.

Work Location:
This is an on-site position based in Pinheiros, São Paulo.


Qualifications:

  1. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership capabilities with exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, negotiation, and decision-making.
  2. Communication: Excellent written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills.
  3. Planning and Organization: Outstanding planning and organizational abilities.
  4. Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience in a similar role, leading data/analytics teams.
  5. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
