Big Data Architect at BairesDev

We are looking for Big Data Architects to join our Development team and participate in different projects made up of multicultural teams distributed worldwide. We are looking for proactive people and team players passionate about programming in this language and oriented to provide the best experience to the end user. This is an excellent opportunity for those professionals looking to develop in one of the fastest-growing companies in the industry!

These developers will face numerous technical challenges, so they must use current technologies and get involved in the mobile world, web applications, devices, etc.

What You Will Do:

1. Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying, and maintaining a multi–tenant big data platform.
2. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
3. Design and implement scalable data platforms for our customer-facing services.
4. Data cluster monitoring and troubleshooting.
5. OS integration and application installation.
6. Partner with program management, network engineering, site reliability operations, and other related groups.

Here’s what we are looking for:

1. 8+ years of experience working as a developer.
2. 6+ years of experience in Big Data.
3. Proficient with analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
4. Hands-on experience with managing data loads and data quality is a plus.
5. Advanced English level.
